What is an NDIS Provider?
Service providers deliver funded services. There are many types of service providers.
An NDIS-registered provider is one that meets government safety and quality standards. They can be a large company, a charity, a non-profit, a sole trader, or any other type of business.
The NDIS will only be delivered by NDIA-registered providers if the funding is managed by the NDIS. If you have worked with support workers and providers for several years but they are not NDIS registered, you should encourage them to register.
NDIS participants may also use non-registered providers in addition to NDIS registered providers.
Specialised Care
